Bark of Arjuna tree is very good natural source of calcium and has been found to be rich in Co-enzyme Q-10 which is highly prescribed in cardiology departments now a days to prevent heart problems. High amounts of Co-enzyme Q-10 prevents incident of heart attacks. It also has a tonic effect in cases of cirrhosis of the liver. It induces a drug-dependent decrease in blood pressure and heart rate. It has been reported to possess protective cardiovascular and hypolipidemic properties. It helps to strengthen the heart muscle , in controlling the blood pressure to normal levels,helps to remove the blockages in cardiac vessels. It is very good in angina patients.

In this blog I will write an action of  Methica (Trigonella foenumgraecum) seeds and Medasak.(Litsea glutinosa)

Methica (Trigonella foenumgraecum) 

 As per modern science,

Methika  seeds contain minerals ,which include calcium, phosphorous ,iron, sodium and potassium. so useful in osteoporotic changes in menopause .It is nervine tonic  in neuralgic pain.

ACTION OF MEDASAK:

As per Ayurveda,

Medasak is analgesic and anodyne so useful in sciatica, nervine and neuralgesic disorders and convulsions, gout, backache, rheumatic disorders and other vataj Disorders.
